10th CGHE Annual Conference 2025 – Global Rupture? Geopolitics, policy repair and the reimagining of higher education

CGHE Research

CGHE brings together the community of research on global higher education

CGHE currently has several research projects underway, including work on student funding, social mobility, African academic publishing, research on research and tertiary systems.
During the CGHE Transition Centre, from 2020 to 2024, CGHE research was organised into 10 projects, featuring eight projects from the previous centre and two new projects.
During the first phase of CGHE between 2015 and 2020, research was organised into three research programmes which integrated local, national and global perspectives, each having major policy implications.
